45 Gemballa Mirage GT
Gemballa claimed that its Mirage concept was capable of producing a Veyron-like 1000hp and could reach a theoretical top speed of 400km/h, with the sprint to 100km/h taking less than 3.5 seconds.
With the Gemballa body, the Mirage GT looks like it is planning to enter the Le Mans 24-hour race. The most conspicuous change to the front are the additional air intakes on the new front spoiler.
The cost of the comprehensive conversion, which can only be carried out by Gemballa, starts from EUR 229,800.
44 Koenigsegg CCX
The 806-hp CCX, or Competition Coupe X, is capable of going more than 240 mph and claims to be the fastest production vehicle in the world.Back in early 2005, a CCR supercar had won the fastest production car title when it achieved 241 mph (387.87 kph) on at Italy's Nardo Track.

The Eliica electric car designed by Hiroshi Shimizu, is what, and Auto Express got to take one out for a ride. It's as ugly as sin, but it'll do 0 to 60 in just four seconds, powered by separate 100hp motors in each of its eight wheels.
Though it looks to be limousine length, the Eliica actually only seats the driver and three passengers – small consolation is that at an approximate US$320,000 a unit in prototype form, the car will still be in a limousine price range when manufactured in production quantities.
Naturally enough, the Eliica roadgoing prototype aims to offer the ultimate environment and safety standards – power will be available by plugging into the mains electricity where it will take 10 hours to take on a full charge which should offer the 2,400kg Eliica a range of 200 kilomtres.
